This is like a dramatic score for a play that’s unraveling in Bill Russo’s mind. It starts with mood music for a pesky Devil waiting to get into the action, it’s calm but brooding; then the tempo builds into ‘Greed’, closely followed by the spookier ‘Lechery’. By the time you get to ‘Sloth’ it’s a strange town of reverb trombone and ambient sound. No sign of Gwyneth Paltrow’s head in a box, mind you.
